Falling into Autumn
Fall is here! It’s getting harder to ignore the beautiful colored leaves and the chilly wind of the new season! In the spirit of harvest time, Westmount Florist is redecorating in favor of rich, warm tones and colorful gourds.

Papa, Father, Padre, Pop, Dad..
Whatever name they go by, when it comes time to think of gifts for them, thoughts generally run the gamut of he-man gifts – rarely flowers. But yes……REAL men love flowers too ! They may sometimes act like they don’t, but that’s just dad laying out the rules in the Old School Testosterone Playbook. The same playbook that says real men don’t cry and shouldn’t wear pink.

Fabulous at 50 !
Turning 50 in life can be exciting and traumatic at the same time. Your body starts to do things you never thought could happen to you and your body can’t do things you thought you’d be able to do forever !! While turning the big 5-0 for me was exciting and really didn’t take too much work the thought of a business turning 50 takes a tremendous amount of work. Very few business make it to that amazing milestone and I am so proud to be able to along with my family carry on what our fabulous father and mother started 50 years ago. I know for a fact that unlike my turning 50, Westmount Florist turning 50 took a whole lot of hard work every single year.

Easter Traditions
Easter has always been one of my favorite times, and not just because it means lots of chocolate. Its springtime, everything is being reborn. Tulips, crocuses, daffodils, you name it, its sprouting up through the earth. The trees are budding, the birds are singing, and the Easter Bunny is on his way. Holidays for me always come with a whole host of memories, and over the years my family has had lots of fun little Easter traditions.
